The look of death

So I witnessed death first hand for the first time last night. We had a man brought in the the ER in cardiac arrest. They were not able to recessitate him.

Moments like that just make me reflect on life, what would happen to my boys, my husband, my life. How would my kids remember me, know that I loved them. Who would make their boo-boo's all better with a single kiss and hug. Basically we are all on borrowed time, no one is guaranteed a tomorrow. So live every moment, like it was your last. It makes me recall on of my favorite phrases.

" Love as if you have never been hurt. Dance like no one is watching. Sing like no one is listening. And live everyday as if it were your last"

The start....

I am new to this blogging scene, but it seems like the new "in" so I have jumped on the bandwagon. I use this outlet to chronicle my many adventures, whether it be just daily turmoils, joys and milestones with the my boys *whom we shall call Spanky and Buckwheat". Big guy was nicknamed Spanky by my brother, so we just kept going with the little rascals theme. Little guy is Buckwheat, my nephew Logan is Froggie, we need to get one for my nephew Tyler I guess I will just go with Butch.

I will also speak of my love, my wonderful husband of almost 8 wonderful years. We will have been together 15 years this October. He is my best friend, my daily inspiration, basically my everything.
